More about Glayva Cottage

There are two good sized bedrooms
upstairs.

There is a bright double bedroom with
sea views and a large en-suite
bathroom which has a twin sink vanity
unit, a relaxing double ended bath and
a stylish waterfall feature tap. This
bedroom also has a feature oak
window seat to allow you to enjoy the
views in even more comfort.

The second bedroom is also light and
airy, it has an original fireplace
(decorative only) twin beds and superb
sea views.

There is also a modern, bright shower
room with a walk-in shower, a heated
tile floor, real wood finishes and yet
more sea views!

There is a bright and airy kitchen/diner
with new kitchen units, new SMEG
appliances (dishwasher, oven, hob), a
large Siemens Fridge/Freezer, seating
for four and a welsh dresser storage
unit. The washing machine and tumble
dryer are located in the adjoining utility
room along with additional storage
facilities (useful for drying coats and
wellies!)

A full set of pots, pans, cutlery,
crockery and other assorted cooking
utensils are provided.

Even if the weather lets you down, or if
you simply prefer a relaxing evening
indoors, you can escape to the lounge
where you can enjoy a selection of
books, games, CDs, DVDs or satellite
TV. If that sounds too energetic, then
just light the stove and try and decide
whether to watch the fire or the sea
from the comfort of your armchair.

The cottage was completely renovated
in 2009 and has been rebuilt with
modern, energy efficient lighting,
heating and insulation. There is a
modern hot water system and new
electric central heating which will keep
the cottage warm and comfortable.

If you have little ones, there is a small
patio area at the front of the cottage for
them to play in. There are also plenty of
outdoor activities to keep the wee ones
occupied. The loch at the front of the
cottage has a tide which means there
are plenty of rock pools to be
discovered. And there is no shortage
of open space for them to have a real
adventure! Alternatively, there is
selection of board games, satellite TV,
Nintendo Wii and a DVD player to keep
them amused if the sun isn't shining.
